Sports & Orthopedic Physical Therapy
How I can help:
Improve your sports performance
Gain your strength back
Increase your range of motion
Improve pain with running and/or lifting
Get you back to hiking pain free
Low back, rotator cuff, hip, knee, and foot rehab
It’s frustrating to be sidelined by your pain.
I am here to listen and be your guide back to all of the activities you enjoy. This is not your average physical therapy session. All treatment is tailored to your needs and goals! We will develop a plan together based on your lifestyle or training schedule to get you where you want to be.
I believe that you should be involved in the planning of your care. Sessions with me are one-on-one and not spent doing exercises alone. We will best utilize our time together to analyze movements that are limited or that you struggle to do because of your pain.
Toward the beginning of your care we will spend more time on hands-on techniques to calm down the symptoms you are experiencing. This may involve dry needling, joint mobilizations, cupping, stretching, nerve mobility work, and lymphatic fluid mobilization.
As you start to feel better we will shift the focus to addressing the root of your problem with movement based prescription based on your activities and goals.
The Process
-
First, book a free discovery call to see if we are a good fit. Then I will schedule you an evaluation at the end of the call. You will be able to choose whether you would like to be treated in the Meredith office, the Laconia office, or in the comfort of your own home!
-
You will receive online paperwork via email to fill out at least 24 hours prior to your evaluation. This will help me prep for your session.
-
We will discuss your needs and your health history to better understand the nature of your symptoms.
Based on our discussion, I may then perform a movement analysis, flexibility measurements, strength testing, and range of motion assessments, palpation, and other testing.
-
After the physical exam, we will go over my findings and create an individualized plan of care for you.
This will include how often I think we should schedule follow up sessions, as well as treatment technique recommendations.
